John Edwin Mein

John Edwin Mein is the Executive Coordinator of PROCOMEX – Aliança Pró Modernização Logística do Comércio Exterior, a business coalition focused on the modernization of customs processes in Brazil. He previously served as Chairperson of the Private Sector Consultative Group of the World Customs Organization.

He is an experienced public speaker and is recognized for his ability to moderate diverse groups working on challenging issues. He has published numerous editorials and articles, including in the World Customs Journal.

Throughout his varied professional career, he has worked extensively in trade facilitation, public policy, investment promotion, new business development, association management, strategic planning, and general management, as well as on several social entrepreneurship projects.

He has served and continues to serve on several boards, both professionally and as a volunteer.
