Velma Ricketts Walker is an International Trade and Revenue Administration Executive. She has over 19 years of experience in customs administration, trade facilitation, risk analysis, international trade, security, compliance and enforcement. She is the Commissioner of the Jamaica Customs Agency, Chairperson for the World Customs Organization (WCO) Capacity Building Committee and an IMF certified and trained TADAT Assessor.

Mrs Ricketts Walker is an experienced management professional, highly result oriented with strong motivational, coaching and negotiation skills. She has comprehensive knowledge, training and expertise in: trade facilitation programs, risk management, voluntary compliance programs, intelligence, investigative techniques, enforcement operations, project management, operations management, communication, customer service and delivery.
